For use with the Axminster Woodturning Discovery chucks, these woodturning backplates allow you to keep your chuck body (GK88, GK100 or SK100) when upgrading your lathe. Save time and money and simply choose the suitable backplate size for your new lathe thread, instead of buying a completely new chuck.

Available in sizes 1” x 8 tpi, 1.1/4” x 8 tpi, 3/4” x 16 tpi and M33 x 3.5mm. The M33 x 3.5mm thread is a universal thread, that combines the standard M33 x 3.5mm thread, allows you to add an ASR Locking Ring as well as grub screws to turn in reverse, all in one thread. Suitable for lathes with a M33 x 3.5mm Euro standard ASR spindle and requires the 109370 ASR Locking Ring for the chuck to be run in reverse.
